Blessings to all who take the time to watch this. I noticed a mistake when I was going through doing a Wisdom Booklet on a 4 day week. I said the handbook/manual suggests doing all the resources the first week. This is not correct. What I meant to say was the handbook/manual suggests doing all the worksheets the first week. Hopefully that will make a bit more sense. Sorry for the error!
May the Lord bless you in your endeavor to make the Wisdom Booklets Dynamic in your home!

    Hi Kim,
I am the new ATI family and had attended the conference in CA this year. Would you please email me the handouts you mentioned in the video (especially the 4/5 days schedules)? Thank you very much!

    Rose

Making the Wisdom Books Dynamic is a wonderful topic. As I was looking over the ATI family blogs they were all very nice, but they seemed to be mostly family sites. I was looking for the nuts and bolts of the ATI useage and wasn’t able to find them when we first getting started, so in hopes to fill a niche here for this wonderful site I started Adventures in ATI this is not a “Family Blog” although I do have a separate one of those. My ATI site is devoted to the nuts and bolts of making Wisdom Books Dynamic. Enjoy! http://www.atifamily.blogspot.com We are praying about starting a regular website instead of the free blogger page so we could have more range of dispersing our information. Any suggestions could be sent to strongquiver(at)gmail.com

  8. The handouts are up!

There was one additional handout on the Meditation Worksheet, but we haven’t been able to convert that to a PDF yet. We’ll see if we can get that one up later.

We are brand new to this (our Wisdom Booklets should arrive tomorrow!) and I have a question about the planning. You said several times to “take every spare moment” to plan the Wisdom Booklets. This is a little overwhelming to me and I was wondering if you could give me an idea of how much time you are talking about per week for example? I have visions of spending many, many hours per week doing planning and never being able to do anything else with my free time! :-) I’m sure that isn’t the case for you, and I would love any sort of ballpark number. I’m willing to sacrifice anything I need to sacrifice for my family’s well-being, but I do have quite a few things I enjoy doing and/or need to do during my free time. (BTW, I am a pretty experienced homeschool mom with 8 children, one of which is graduation soon, so I have some experience with planning.)

Thank you so much for any insight you could offer, and thank you for a great video!

    Blessings,
    Kate

    Hi Kate,
By “taking every spare moment to plan” I guess I should explain myself. This does not mean you may do nothing but plan a Wisdom Book. :) Life does happen around school, or wait, school is life. Anyway, I realized how much wasted time I had at different appointments, waiting to pick up a child from a practice, etc and this is where that phrase comes in. The Lord was gracious to show me how to “redeem the time wisely” by using these wasted moments, some as few as 2-5 minutes, some as many as 30-45 minutes, and plan a Wisdom Booklet. Planning a Wisdom Booklet varies with each one. Some are longer than others thus taking more time to read and plan. It is very hard for me to figure how much time I spend planning a Wisdom Booklet, but it is not that much. I asked my hubby for a ball park number to give you and he said possibly 7-8 hours a week. Keep in mind, the way I plan which is during the summer months and winter breaks, I am only planning for 8-10 weeks out of the year. So 64-80 hours total planning for 8 Wisdom Booklets in a year. I hope that helps. Feel free to email me if you have other questions or if I didn’t answer this one adequately.
    Blessing as you plan,
    Kim
